Aquapalooza on Lake Lanier (Hosted by Marinemax)

NOW THIS IS GOING TO BE A PARTY!

MarineMax and Lake Lanier Islands Resort are teaming up to make this years Aquapalooza event in Georgia the best one ever... and last year we had over 400 boats and 2,000 people attend! Lake Lanier Islands has opened up its Beach and Waterpark to people who sign up for the event. Lake Lanier Islands will be offering food and drink services for those boaters that would like to spend the weekend. Boaters may begin entering Lake Lanier Islands Beach Friday, July 16th at 7:00pm (boats only). We will be having a docktail party... bring your favorite cocktails and hors d’oeuvres to share with everyone.
At 10:30am, Saturday, July 17th, Drop a hook in the cove and wave down one of the MarineMax water taxis to get to shore and enjoy the Water park and beach activities. Marinemax staff will be monitoring channel 72 on your VHF radio. We will have a live musical performance, beach activities and contests, and ending the evening with a Dive In Movie. BBA Battle of the Boaters Cook-Off

You are invited to reward your taste buds as our finest men boaters face-off at this fund raising event. The cook-off will be held at the Holiday Marina Pavilion from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. If you would like to participate as one of the contestants, please call (678) 472-6764. A $5 donation will be requested to sample these wonderful dishes. A portion of the proceeds will be contributed to the BBCA's scholarship fund.

Fall Poker Run and Low Country Boil (Hosted by Marinemax)

It is time for our annual Fall Poker Run and Low Country Boil on Lake Lanier. Registration begins at 9:30am-all participating boats must register with us before beginning! There will be four stops along the way and your final card will be picked up when you return to Bald Ridge for the Low Country Boil! Buckets of cards will be available at pick up locations after 10:00am.
Once registered, you will receive a map with bucket locations, rules, and agenda. Cards must be turned into the Official Poker Run Judges by 1:00pm to qualify for prizes. Prizes will be presented during the Low Country Boil. (MarineMax Bald Ridge is your starting and ending points). Lunch will be served at 12:30pm.

Is your boat already winterized? No worries! Register to just attend the Low Country Boil. Everyone is welcome!

Luminary Getaway (Hosted by Marinemax)

Marinemax will be hosting their Annual Luminary Getaway will be on December 11.

We will be leaving out of Bald Ridge Marina at 6:00pm sharp! Upon arrival at Lake Lanier Islands, Santa's sleigh (Charter buses) will pick us up at and take us through "The Magical Night of Lights", stop at Santa's Village and Holiday Work Shop to roast marshmallows and make S' mores at outdoor bonfires. Delicious holiday goodies, holiday shopping, and carnival rides are also available!

Once we are loaded up on goodies, we'll travel through the rest of the lights and head back to our boats. Once back at the docks, the winner will be announced for the "Best Decorated Boat".
