The Atlanta Chapter of the BBA, was organized to provide our membership with a forum to take advantage of the enormous benefits that a lifestyle of leisure and recreation presents. Although we hold our meetings at Lake Lanier, our membership and activities are not confined to Lake Lanier, but is inclusive of all boating enthusiasts throughout the Atlanta area.

We strive to promote an environment for all ages to have fun, strengthen family relationships through playing together, enhance communications throughout the boating community, promote team building through teamwork and provide a forum for networking and establishing new relationships. Our activities include formal Gala Affairs, Getaways, Golf, Pot-luck Cookouts, Discounts, Sponsored Events, Boating, Sailing, Jet Skiing, Fishing and Swimming. Our training and information sharing includes watercraft safety, boating operation, and provides a resource for the purchase and sale of watercraft.

One of our primary goals is to provide exposure and information to the general public related to the awesome world of boating. We have found that after being exposed to the boating experience, many of our friends and associates have become members of our boating family.

Even if you do not own a watercraft, we invite you to come on out and experience the fun and excitement that boating has to offer. As a multi-cultural organization, we encourage anyone interested in boating to become a member and join in the fun!!!!
